The Kana Chair is made of ash with a black/matte lacquer finish and upholstered in a tan mohair. The frame slips down and and around the seat to create an elegant tension between the upholstery and wood, while the upholstery slumps to complete the chair back. The tension between the materials is sculptural while still creating a comfortable piece.
